Dear community,
is there any easy way to export a SPIP-Site to static HTML?
It's for archiving some sites of events on a webspace where they don't
want to maintain spip anymore.
Thanks

Hello,
you could make a static copy of website by using tools like
wget
http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/wget.htm
httrack
https://www.httrack.com/
Or any similar.
Best regards,
Serge
1. activate html-style URLs in SPIP
2. empty cache
3. grab site using wget / httrack / winhattrack
This gives you a perfect copy of your site. You may disable all
interactive elements before starting since they will not work in a
static copy of your site.
Step 1 is not necessary but it gives you additional reliability and
simplicity of the result.
enjoy :-)k++
