Keep translating the plugins myself, since I can not seem to find a way to change the language in the plugins..
Anybody knows how to change the default _FR language to ex english ( _en ) in (spip liste 1.93 )
Did start translating, but just decided to ask here instead..
A quick search gave me 210 different "lang", $lang, etc..
what I guess I need is somewhere were it is said : what language do you whant, French, English, espagnol etc..
kindly

(still getting better reading french)
btw.
the french Lang file is 48kb the UK is 20kb is the english shorter or what....
In case i translate it to Danish where can i send it, so others can benefit..?
PS
How to change language in other plugins..
Is there a "rule" for all the plugins ( seem always to come with other lang files..)
If the plugin comes with different languages, it chooses the language of the private interface automatically. If you choose english as your private interface language, then spip-listes will show in English.

I ended up translating the entire lang_fr file, so If anybody is interessted, give me a mail, and I will forward the lang file to spiplistes 1.93 as well as the (online) aide file

Hvis du er dansk og har lyst til at lave en mailliste så har jeg oversat sprogfilerne, så det hele nu fungerer på dansk også..
I det hele taget, hvis du taler dansk og bruger spip så lad og dog begynde at dele erfaringer

Of course you should add the language file to the SPIP-Zone SVN
repository, *even if* no-one says she is interested yet. Maybe someone
is going to be interested tomorrow and will never see your email.

On a similar topic, I have English translations for the Escoitar GIS plug-in that I'd like to contribute. Should I provide a patch to the authors (there are a few code changes for un-translated strings)? Or apply for SVN access to spip-zone?

Yes the zone is open to everyone who wants to contribute, this is the
right way to do it
