XProtector in Spip 1.9

Hi Gilles,
Thanks for the information. I just subsribed to the english list, too.

I like SPIP. And with the protec sites, we have done some nice work of modularisation.
http://www.protecsardinia.com/
http://www.protecplaya.com/
are the same templates! (and the same system)

Actually I use XProtector to protect some "rubriques", it doesn't seem to run in 1.9.
I didn't get an answer or solution to the problem until now.
Is there a new native feature to protect some categories?

Patrick

Hi!
Thanks for the hint.
I just checked the internal version and it's SPIP 1.8.2 g, which is
practically 1.8.3.
I remember I upgraded because of the security bug.

yes, but some modifications of Spip1.9 has been ported only on 1.8.3

It's not a real good idea to take the version-Nr in the path...

This is good if you are not in this version
But url-rewriting is better that's sure !

Just a question : have you subscribed to the official english mailing list ?
(http://listes.rezo.net/mailman/listinfo/spip-en). I think there isn't
enough spip users here..

Yes, there is a plugin called "acces restreint" and "acces restreint
par groupe" which should do the same thing. However I don't know these
plugins very well..

They implement in plugins
"http://www.spip-contrib.net/Le-plugin-Acces-Restreint,1420" and
"http://www.spip-contrib.net/Creer-des-groupes-limiter-l-acces"

Does anybody else use Xprotecter or "acces restreint" ?
