Hi,
Is it possible to have two spip sites in a single database? For example, with different table name prefixes?
If yes, how can i do that?
Thanks,

Hi,
For multiple Spip installations on a single base, the following
article on Spip-Contrib in French explains step by step:
- http://www.uzine.net/spip_contrib/article.php3?id_article=120
If I may quickly summarise this in English, the procedure for sites
called "paf" and "plouf" is:
1- Unpack Spip in a directory called "paf"
2- Create the file paf/ecrire/mes_options.php3 with:
<?php
$table_prefix = "paf";
$cookie_prefix = "paf";
?>
3- Configure your site as usualy.
Repeat the procedure with your other sites, using different names,
such as "plouf". Also, you can rename an existing installation with
the above steps by exporting the Spip DB, re-configuring, then
importing the DB.
Hope this helps,
matt
