Transalations in bi/multilingual site

Hello,

I am having trouble figuring out how to create translations on a multilingual
site.

I am building a bilingual (French/English) site. Under Configuration -->
Language Management I have English selected as 'main site language'; 'Yes'
selected for all options under 'multilingual, with 'English' and 'français'
checked off below. I am able to create new content in either language. However,
I can't seem to link/identify articles/sections as translations of each other.

In the document "Creating a Multilingual Site," in the section "3. Translation
links," it says:
"When writing a new article it can be marked as a translation by entering the
article number of the original reference article using the ARTICLE LANGUAGE AND
TRANSLATIONS form above the body of the new article. (When you create a new
translation by using the button "Write a new translation of this article", this
number is inserted automatically.)"

But when I create or modify an article, I see neither an "ARTICLE LANGUAGE AND
TRANSLATIONS" form nor a "Write a new translation of this article" button.

Is there something I need to install? Am I looking in the wrong place?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Steven

Steven,

Have a look at the article and template here:

I hope it may help.

Following the tutorial seems to have done the trick. I now have the option to
mark articles as translations of others.

Does an English version of this tutorial exist? If not, I'd be happy to do a
translation.

Steven,
That would be fine, if you'd like to.
And, if you would like to help with the translation of one or two articles
on spip.net, that would be even more appreciated!
