Since SPIP 1.7, following the editorial activity is simplified: You can
provide a mailing list email address to SPIP in the site configuration.
SPIP will then automatically send a notification of new editorial
activities to every member of that list.
Creating a mailing-list
SPIP does not manage mailing list by default as it is not its main
purpose. You can either extend SPIP with spip-liste or use a dedicated
software/Web sites to manage such functionality.
However, SPIP is able to use an external mailing list. Therfore, you must
have already created a mailing list and simply provide its address to your
SPIP site.
