SPIP's locking and Forms and Table for 2.0?

Hi all,

We've seen a problem with two of our SPIP sites (base on 1.9.2 c and d) where the entire site becomes completely unresponsive for long periods of time. I've been told by our hosting company that it may have something to do with the lock files created in tmp/ and/or that it may be related to quotas (SPIP may be generating corrupt files in tmp/ when quota is exceeded).

The main symptom that we see is that every request to the site hangs -- just a white screen of death. Deleting everything in tmp/ seems to make the problem go away, but I have no idea how or why (or even if it does, it could just be a coincidence).

Has anyone seen anything similar? Is is a known bug that was fixed in later versions?

On another note: almost every site we do with SPIP uses the Forms and Tables plug-in. Is there any news of a SPIP 2.0 port of this plug-in being released soon? I notice that it's in Subversion, but haven't been able to find a packaged release anywhere...

That's good news.

Where did you get it? From Subversion or is there a zip or tarball somewhere?
