Hello,
Just to let you know my self-installation of SPIP 1.9.0 failed. The "ecrire" folder
contains only the "lang" subfolder with the language files. There are no PHP files in the "ecrire"
folder therefore it cannot be installed.
I am using http://www.alpinehosting.net.au/

have you tried installing it by hand?
it's not difficult, you just have to transfer all the files yourself to the server via ftp.
