A number of pages of documentation on spip.net have been added or updated in order to explain the big changes and new features of SPIP 1.9.
I am at present unable to devote the time necessary to undertake the translation. If anyone on this list is able to make a start on the translation, then I will be happy to support him/her/them.
This new version brings with it big changes in the way SPIP works.

to use spip1.9 as a beginning discovery for this good-reputation software.
It's quite hard to find what-I-need help in English
Good news for me is google can be used to translate the webpage from
French to English:
paste above entire url in webbrowser can give a English version for
spip1.9.
Or you may prefer to customerize your translation by go into
www.google.com->language tools
share the tip with all suffered people.

For the version 2.0 of Spip, a real effort will be done to translate
the whole documentation in english. It should also be restructured and
cleaned.
