Are you wondering what the "sommaire-dist", "rubrique-dist", or
"article-dist" files are? They're -- very simply -- SPIP's distribution
files!
As you already know -- if you don't, please read the Reference Manual) or
the Tutorial (not yet translated into English) -- the template system is
based on .html files that contain the graphic layout of the site. For
instance, "article.html" displays articles while "rubrique.html" displays
sections, and so on.
However, we became aware that more often than not users modifying the
.html files provided with SPIP in order to adapt their websites to their
own needs had some problems when upgrading to the latest version of SPIP.
