I downloaded spips new version and unpacked it to my local machine.
I have MySQL version 5.024a-community.
i went to mysite/ecrire catalog and went through the installation. It said, everything is cool. But I can not enter the private area. Spip says my login identity is incorrect and I cannot retrieve my password either. I checked MySql spip-schema and only tables with values in them are "spip_types_documets", "spip_test", "spip_meta" and "spip_cahces"
so no login information in them
is the installer screwed or are my webserver and db-server settings incorrect??
