image_reduire

Hi All,

We have come across a problem with image_reduire. We have some nice crisp JPEG images of houses and rooms for a real estate website and when resizing them using image_reduire the compression is terrible and they end up quite blurred. Is there a way to control the compression when resizing images. They are only being resized from around 640px to 497px wide then cropped using image_recadre.

Any help appreciated.

Kind regards,

Sure that you are using GD2 or Imagick in your site? If gd1 is
selected, the quality will be really poor.

Hi,

do you have a public url where we can see it, or can you send us the
template part which crops the images ?
Maybe you should try image_masque instead of image_recadre :
http://www.paris-beyrouth.org/Recadrer-une-image-avec-image
(but normally it's the same result)
