either it's a bug, either you make a call to
spip.php?exec=auteurs_infos in the public area (or a plugin). Which
version of Spip do you use ? svn, 1.9.2c ou another one ? Does this
bug still occurs when you desactivate all the plugins ?

Basically, you have to create a main section (at the root) for the forum (call it Forum, for ex.). Then you create sub-sections (which are the main topics of the forum, create at least one). Then in the sub-section you create at least one article (title and description) and you publish the article. Then you install the two plugins balise session and GafoSpip and you activate them. You will have a GafoSpip icon in the Forum menu in the private area. If you click on that icon you be have the configuration page where you enter the keyword group that the plugin will use to create the forum keywords (you can either create a keyword group for that or let the plugin create it). You attach the keyword "rub_gaforum" to the main section you created in the beginning. That's it.
Then you customise the forum templates by copying all the file in the dist folder to the root of the GafoSpip folder and editing them (replace the xx in article-xx.html and rubrique-xx.html by the main section number.
Hopefully this is enough to make the forum work.
Attached are the two localised (in English) language files that come with the plugin. apologies to the list for the attachments but I couldn't find where to upload these files.
