Complete interface missing

Hi!,

I’ve installed Spip 2.0.9 and I don’t have the option: « simplified interface / interface complete » in the private area.
The main problem is that I can’t use the keywords. The documentation says that I must use the complete interface in order to apply them.

Any idea/suggestions?

Thanks in advance and apologize for any inconvenience.

Regards,

you could go to
yoursite.com/ecrire/?exec=configuration and activate keywords .

( "simplified interface / interface complete" doesn't exist anymore in 2.0.9 )

Hi Noelia

Since last versions there is no more different interface modes but you can go to the config area (as admin) to turn on/off many aspects of SPIP, keywords included.

Thanks for your responses.

I activated the keywords in the configuration section (and I also activated the advanced configuration of keyword group).
After that, I created some keywords but when I’m trying to apply them to some article I can’t do it… there’s not any tab o subsection where I can select the keyword for my article.
I need to activate some other option?

Regards,
Noelia

I don’t have the option KEYWORDS as I suppose to have. Is for that reason that I think that I have to enable something more, but I don’t know what or how.

Are you writing a NEW article? or are you trying to modify an article written by another author with an editor user?

hum.

on ?exec=mots_type&new=oui
(or ?exec=mots_type&id_groupe=xx if modify)
did you check the boxes ?

I tried with a new article and also modify an article, both of them with and administrator user.

I may think I know where the problem is (something with the DB) … I’m going to do some tests.

Thanks!

Finally, I solved my problem.

I upgraded from version 1.9 to 2.0.9 and I followed this instructions: http://www.spip.net/en_article2154.html , but for some reason the DB didn’t upgrade 100% correctly. I performed the procedure again and I have the Keywords options.

Thank you all for your help!
