I’m having real problems with comment spam. E.g. I had 60 (all the same) comments to delete this morning!!!

I’ve installed the Spip captcha plugin: http://www.spip-contrib.net/Balise-CAPTCHA

But that’s obviously not deterring the spammers.

Two questions, then. 1) Is there a more effective anti-comment-spam plugin?

  1. Is there any ‘bulk delete’ option in Spip? Deleting comments 1 by 1 is starting to take quite a bit of time every day…

Why don't you try the swiss knife plugin (http://files.spip.org/spip-zone/couteau_suisse.zip)?

It hasen't given me any grief yet.

Thanks for the tip. I've just installed the Swiss knife plugin and it looks
as though it should be useful. However, I've activated the tool that
prevents anonymous forum entries but this doesn't seem to prevent leaving
comments with no name or email. I'm using Spip 1.9.2c which I believe has
the relevant JavaScript libs built in. Am I missing something...?
