even though I managed to fix the problem, I would like
to know if someone knows why it occured.. here goes:
this weekend, someone mailed me to say
media-activism.be (a website I run) was down. indeed,
there was a message instead of the homepage saying
something like 'php error - unexpected $ in
/public/ecrire/data/inc_cache.php3 -- don't remember
the exact file name, but it had 'cache' in it for sure
when I opened up this file in a ftp client, I noticed
that it just kind a stopped in the middle of a line,
as if a script didn't execute completely, but stopped
halfway. I deleted the file, refreshed the homepage,
it all worked again, plus the file in /ecrire/data was
back and seemed complete again.
does anyone know what happened and why/how/ this
happened. again, no problem anymore, but just curious;
