Batch convert rubric relation

I would like to convert around 400 articles from various rubrics to “its “ sub-rubricks…
Is it possble to do as a “batch”… Ie take all conserned articles, and push a buttom ( convert)

The only way I could think of is an UPDATE sql command directly on the database, through phpMyAdmin or similar.

Tom,

I could offer you some help on writing the proper SQL statement to do this. Tell me how you would like to convert the articles. Do you simply need to move all articles in rubrique=6 to rubrique=14, for example, or do you need to move _some_ articles in rubrique=6 to rubriques=14 and 15, for example?
