Dear all,
I have faced an issue regarding backup the database. When I wanted to save the database it is going so slow and I cannot load the page. The hosting company says it is because of large files of dump. But I don’t think the compressed backup would be more than 14MB.
I cannot backup the database via sPIP Cpanel. I’m using SPIP 1.0.2d 11132 and the latet version of MYSQL.
Any help?

I have the same problem. I think that most of the time it is due to the
spip_syndic table which cast every bit of limk published and the websites
you link to.
For me this was 5 years of backlinking on heavy traffic websites, so....
And by the way, I'm not a specialist but I think 14MB is much too bog for
a dump file.
