Respected,
We are interested in translating the SPIP platform in our native language:
Macedonian (MK).
Great
We already signed up and started translating, but we are not confident if
we are doing the right thing (we understand English and some of the
articles are in French and other languages) and also we would like to know
how to translate the main spip.net pages in Macedonian. Please help up, we need basic support in the translation area or tell us
who to contact with on this matter.
From what I saw you are doing fine on the strings translation level.
As for the translation of the documentation, I've created two sections: one in the site's root called Macedonian documentation and one in "aide en ligne" called mk-aide.
I've also made you administrator of these two sections (assuming your account is called designspiro). The first one will contain the documentation articles and the second one is for the on line help.
You just pick an article (from the french or english documentation, you open the box labelled "article language and translations" (the small triangle next to it) and click on "Write a new translation of this article". Do not forget to choose macedonian as the article's language and mke sure it is in the right section in macedonian translation (of course you'd better create a sub-sections structure like the other documentations first).
As for the online help you go to the aide en ligne section then to fr-aide or en-aide and you start translating articles exactly as in the documentation making sure that your articles are in the mk-aide section.
Enjoy!
George
