Hello,
I have upgraded to the latest version of SPIP (2.0.10 [14698]). From version 2, the language option has changed inside control panel. It was very easy for the authors in previous versions to see the language option and also easy to understand that they can change it. But now it doesn’t look like a drop down menu and it is difficult to find out how it works. So I think it is better to have the language option like before.
There are about 2200 registered authors on my website and most of them do not like general announcements or cannot find them. Authors in general start writing a new article and like everything done with some simple clicks. I think a place like where the most recent articles are, is a good place for listing 2-3 announcements.

Kamran

Hello,
It is 2-3 days that I give an error on my website:
Site under construction
Warning: a technical problem (SQL server) prevents access to this part of the site. Thank you for your understanding.
Sometimes it’s connected and sometime now. I talked to hosting company for several times and when they checked, it was connected and replied me that it is working fine.
Any possible issue with SPIP? Any solution?
Kamran

Hello,

the message is quite obvious - SPIP cannot connect to your database server. You should check whether is's running and if your config files contain appropriate data.
